Musina Local Municipality shall adjudicate Tenders in accordance with the Supply Chain Management Policy and the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000. Tender documents containing the Conditions of Tender will be available from the Cashier, Musina Civic Centre, 21 Irwin Street, as from Friday, 4th November 2022, upon a non-refundable fee as indicated above.
Prospective bidders are required to submit fully completed, priced, signed and initialled bid documents in a sealed envelope marked with the “Bid number and description”. The bid document must be deposited in the designated Tender box located at the reception area of Musina Local Municipality Civic Centre, 21 Irwin Street, not later than the closing date and time. NB. - For Supply and delivery of Protective clothing, only locally produced or manufactured textile clothing, leather and footwear from local raw material or input with a minimum threshold of 100% for local content will be considered. If the raw material or input to be used for a specific item is not available locally bidders should obtain written authorization from the DTI should they be a need to import such raw material or input, and a copy of authorization letter must be submitted together with the bid document at the closing date and time of the bid. The exchange rate to be used for the calculation of local production and content must be the exchange rate published by the South African Reserve Bank at 12h00 on the date of advertisement. Only bureau of standard (SABS) approved technical specification no 1286:2011 must be used to calculated local content.
- Evaluation criteria – (a) Evaluation in terms of 100% minimum threshold for local production and content. (b) 80/20 and functionality, Minimum threshold for functionality is 70 points

Responsive Bids will then be evaluated on the 80/20 Preference Points System as prescribed by the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017.

BEERHALLS AND VIP PUBS AT THE MUSINA ANNUAL SHOW – 19st -21st JULY 2018
Proposals from interested service providers are hereby invited for ARRANGING TWO BEER GARDENS, ONE MUNICIPAL BAR AND TWO VIPs PUB AT THE MUSINA ANNUAL SHOW IN JULY 2018 at the Musina Show grounds.
The successful Services Provider will be responsible for the following:
- Electricity
- Liquor license and an outside Consuming License.
- All electricity cables for fridges and lighting
- Successful bidder must cater for all types of liquor
- Adequate seating in tent or furnitures
- Dustbins
- Security
The fully completed proposal document, clearly marked “Proposal: Musina Annual Show 2018” must be placed in a sealed envelope and placed in the tender box in the Musina Local Municipality Offices (Reception) by not later than 11:00 on Friday 15 June 2018. The tender box will be emptied just after 11:00 on the closing date.
All successful bidders will be expected to utilize the tent provided by the Municipality
The Municipality does not bind itself to accepting any proposal.
Late proposals, incomplete proposals or proposals submitted by e-mail or fax will under no circumstances be accepted.
