This is to formally inform you that my employment contract as Municipal Manager lapsed at the end of July 2022.
Thank you so much Musina Municipality for the ten years of serving the people of Musina. From working as a General Manager: EDP for a full five year term. I was then given an opportunity of becoming Municipal Manager for a full five year successful term. As a team, we have achieved quiet a number of goals including amongst others, being a lobbying and facilitating agent to the life changing initiatives such as the SEZ, Eco Park, Smarty Copper Mine, JCI Copper Mine reopening, extension of the Great North Mall and many other investments in town.
As a team, we worked very hard to stabilize the environment, municipal finances, municipal audit outcomes and many positive inititaives. We have put in place great plans to take the spear forward, towards a greater and sustainable Musina.
I want to congratulate the newly appointed Acting Municipal Manager, Mr Livhuwani Nephawe and again encourage him to work closely with the established team in order to achieve the great vision of becoming a Gateway City to the rest of Africa.
Thank you so much once more for the opportunity afforded to me. I also want thank the Municipal Council, organized labour unions, municipal workers, all community structures and organisations for their kind support for the past 10 years of service. You have been nothing but a great team to me, continue with the sprit.
