Musina Municipality successfully hosted a fun filled Children’s Cultural Festival at the Nancefield Multipurpose Centre. Specially catering for the early childhood development children, the aim of the event was to help young children celebrate their culture through traditional dance.
The atmosphere was full of joy, music, and excitement as the little ones danced proudly before the cheering crowd. Parents, teachers, and community members came to support and enjoy the beautiful performances. The traditional dances performed included Tshigombela, Malende, Tshifasi, and Tshikona each presented with energy, discipline, and pure joy.
Children from both rural and urban areas of Musina came together to take part in the traditional dancing activities. Participating children wore traditional clothes and performed different traditional dances that are part of their heritage. It was not just a celebration, but also a friendly competition to determine groups that danced better than others.
