In a historic move, Thovhele Vho Livhuwani Ntshandule Mutele was inaugurated as the new senior traditional leader of Mutele Traditional Authority under Ward 12 of Musina Municipality.
A graduate from the University of Venda, Thovhele Ntshandule Mutele is the first woman to ascend the throne in the Mutele dynasty.
The well attended ceremony took place at the local soccer field. Amongst others, the event was attended by Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba, Coghsta MEC Mr Basikopo Makamu, Musina Mayor Cllr Nkhanedzeni Godfrey Mawela, traditional leaders, invited guests and the local communities.
